Job Description

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, transportation and customer services
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
• Liaise and negotiate with carriers and others
• Keep track of delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
• Create and manage budgets
• Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements
• Manage dispatch/logistics staff
• Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing or carriers to meet necessary
parameters, specifications and costs
• Schedule and track inbound and outgoing logistics

Education/Experience

Requirements
• BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain or related field
• 5+ years of experience working in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations
• Firm grasp of the supply chain, inventory, distribution, business, and management principles
• Strong team player
• Able to manage time effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Flexible
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently
