As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be mainly engaged in root cause analysis, developing & fixing, validating the system thoroughly and provide peer review. You are expected of delivering high-performance quality solutions, writing clean & well-tested code and advocate for best practices and exceptional quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyzing and reproducing the bug.
• Perform software maintenance and bug fixes.
• Resolve software issues in terms of functionality, usability, performance.
• Create/Manage test cases.
• Validating software configurations by thoroughly testing the application.
• Works in a team environment to discover requirements, design, and solution for the customer.
• Developing effective, maintainable code on time following prescribed coding standards.
• Customize messaging system exchanging XML data through queues and middleware.
• Develop and implement systems interfaces, application configurations, specific customizations, data load, data migration and application upgrade for assigned projects, as required by project requirements.
• Understand and conduct project build and deployment.
• Perform code reviews ensuring programming standards are adhered to.
• Initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes.

Pre-Requisites:

• Bachelors degree in Computer/IT or MCA with good academic background.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in software development is required.
• Proficient knowledge of Java, Database (Oracle and SQL Server), Spring, Java Script.
• Familiar with Hibernate, Git, Maven, Tomcat, Active MQ, Jenkins, Restful API, React JS is a plus.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry specifically in Process Planning (PP), Manufacturing Execution (MES), Quality Assurance (QA), Supplier Quality (SQA) and Maintenance and Overhaul (MRO) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
