Job description

Must have:

Minimum of 5-10 years of core SQL Server Database administration experience
Multiskilled / cross skilled DBAs in ( Oracle / MSSQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB /Maria etc.) On Prem
Cloud RDS / Redshift / Hybrid Database expert in AWS
Expert in Database engineering solutioning ( Defining physical architecture / building DR / HA / OR solutions)
Excellent interpersonal skill and communication is must.
Must have hands-on experience in building Active/ Active or Active/ Passive database solution
Hands-on experience with key database features like RAC, ASM+, Data Guard, Replication, Log-shipping, Always-On
Hands on MSSQL Version (2012, 2014, 2016 and 2017) / Oracle (11g,12c,18c)
Build, Install, Upgrades, Migrations and Patching activities
Thorough knowledge and proficient in managing database on Linux / Windows OS
Must have automation scripting skills ( Linux, PowerShell, Python, Perl etc.)
Nice to have:
Experience implementing GXP systems in the Biotech industry but not mandatory
Experience on DR / HA setup and execute periodic disaster recovery testing
Responsible for database installations, backup & recovery, upgrades, migrations and day to day monitoring using OEM
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Initiative to recommend solutions
24x7 Environment support for operation database administration
Team player and highly motivated personal to work in demanding environments of growth
