Fullstack Developer ( React.Js and Go lang )

Job Description

You will code and operate our next-generation platform. Our backend stack is predominantly written in Go. Your days will be filled working with concepts such as: Go, AWS (docker, ecs, cloud watch etc), Github actions, agile, scalability, real-time monitoring, automation, gitops, CI/CD. You will be part of a small, dedicated, and cross-functional team using the latest technologies to solve business problems

Must-haves

  1. A university degree (preferably in Computer Science or a related field of study) with 5+ years of experience
  2. Excellent command over Data Structures and Algorithms.
  3. Extensive experience in programming platform and/or infrastructure level software products in Golang or Node.js
  4. Strong proficiency in JavaScript & Typescript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  5. Thorough understanding of React.js, Redux, and Material-UI
  6. Cross-browser development and debugging, W3C guidelines, usability and accessibility

Education/Experience

Nice to have

  1. Startup experience (co-founder/CTO/founding member/early employee)
  2. AWS product experience (ECS, ELB, EBS, RDS, S3, Cloudwatch, AMI, etc)
  3. Familiar with upcoming web technologies (e.g., ES6, ES7, Web Components)
  4. Experience with standard front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  5. Experience with monitoring, distributed logging and metrics, setting up configuring and analyzing to spot problems (Prometheus, Grafana, Filebeat, Logstash)
  6. Really have that "monitor everything and anything" mentality, from an alerting as well as a metrics point of view
  7. Extra points for experience with
    • Kafka/Pulsar, ElasticSearch, Redis, Cassandra, Clickhouse
    • Experience with RPC, SOA, Event-driven systems, Message Buses etc.
    • Mentored 2-3 developers in the past
    • Designed & developed a product/app from scratch.
