Support Marketing and Analytics teams by creating, updating and maintaining business-critical scripts that pull data from our internal sources of truth, and publish that data to the marketing platforms such as Google Adwords, Kenshoo, RevJet etc., using Python, SQL, and other ETL techniques.  This is a critical business function because this data is used to optimize marketing bid automations.

Primary responsibilities:

Work on requests from Marketing team to update, maintain or create passback jobs.
Create python scripts to the standards we have set.
Optimize SQL queries for efficiency.
Test data for accuracy.
Build logging and alerting capabilities in case of failures.
For production bugs, expected to respond with solution within 24 hours.

Qualifications:

Proficient in Python (strong proficiency in other scripting languages will be considered)
Familiarity with using APIs to send and receive data.
Understand how to work in a shared code base using git.
Working knowledge of SQL.
Can think logically and troubleshoot effectively.
Problem solver who understands data.
