As a QA Engineer you will be responsible for both Manual QA testing activities. The person in this role will be responsible to ensure quality of the digital products, and occasionaly use Automation scripts using tools like Selenium. Also, assist the project team with Performance and Load testing as required.

To succeed in this role, the person should be well versed with manual testing of Web and Mobile based applications as well as have a solid understanding of GUI, API, DB, Functional and Regression testing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
• 4+ years of experience in Web enterprise application testing
• 1+ Years of experience in Automation using selenium.
• Proven experience in GUI (Graphical User Interface) testing, cross brower/device testing
• Proven experience in API testing using tools like Postman, Soap UI
• Basic working experience with Automation tools and ability to execute Automation Scripts
• Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases using SQL
• Strong experience in Agile Testing and adhere to all QA best practices
• Strong hands on experience in writing test cases and scenarios
• Attend and contribute in sprint planning sessions and design approaches to automate user stories within the same sprint.
• Readiness to participate in testing processes, strategies, plans, methodologies.
• Ability to guide project managers and testing coordinators, manage defect management and resolution process, act as primary contact on testing projects, if required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently
• Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Provide prompt response and support in resolving critical issues along with the development team
• Investigate new Testing Methodologies, keep abreast with the latest advanced techniques and ramp up the team accordingly
