Job Description

Knowledge:
We are looking for a candidate who is able to test applications with a sharp eye for
spotting defects and a good team player with an excellent communicator. We will be very
welcome if you have knowledge of the following:
● Excellent verbal & written communication skills. And you enjoy collaborating with
others
● 2+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails or other Ruby frameworks
● Expertise in Ruby on Rails (proven experience with popular gems like spree,
experience with microservices, payment gateways etc)
● Must have experience in Ruby 2.x
● Sound knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns
● Familiarity with JSON and JWT (JSON Web Tokens) authorization
● Good to have HTML, AJAX, JQuery & Excellent JavaScript knowledge.
● Good ability to understand, discuss, design, develop, test, document, and
troubleshoot an interactive AJAX enabled Rails application that uses REST, SOAP.
● Strong knowledge of relational database concepts, PostgreSQL, MySQL etc
● Strong experience with Git versioning systems
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Good understanding of server deployment, application scalability and performance
● Familiar with Agile Development Methodology, such as Scrum.
● Knowledge of software best practices, like test-driven development and continuous
integration.
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
● Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code.
● Excellent technical knowledge; able to learn new technologies quickly.
● Has the ability to accept and integrate successfully into a team environment
● Able to work independently

Key Skills: MySQL, JavaScript ,API, OOP, Ruby on Rails. HTML5 ,CSS, Node JS, web
application, XML

Skills/ Abilities:
● Experience with modern Javascript libraries, frameworks & its ecosystem will be a
huge plus. Example: React.js / Angular.js / Vue.js etc.
● Experience with Micro-service Architecture, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA),
Graph QL and REST APIs will be a huge plus
