Roles and responsibility:

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer.
• Education: Any Engineering PG/UG from a reputed college.
• Must have experience in Manual Testing.
• Review software requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black-box testing.
• Working experience with User Acceptance Testing and Accessibility Testing.
• Solid knowledge of database testing.
• Strong ability to test API.
• Knowledge of bug tracking tools (Bugzilla, Jira, Rally, VersionOne).
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Responsible for the actions in meeting the release criteria and deadlines.

Good to have

• Experience in the development of automated tests using Selenium and Java.
• Strong knowledge of QA best practices.
• Experience with software testing and automated test techniques with a strong focus on quality throughout the entire software development cycle.
• ISTQB certification will be an added advantage.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• Experience using Linux Operating Systems and knowledge of Linux Commands/Shell Scripting.
