About Role - Remote Senior PHP-LARAVEL Developer

A UK-based digital agency is developing projects and campaigns for their client base across the UK and overseas.

This is a fully remote role and requires fluency in written and verbal English.

You will be reporting directly to the CTO based in the UK. As Senior PHP-LARAVEL Developer, youll participate in all development aspects of the solution. Your mission will be to drive the progress of the web application and the development team while providing the best user experience imaginable. This is a full-time permanent role for a true self-starter, someone who wants to build something from the beginning.

As our Senior PHP-LARAVEL Developer, youll be responsible for

• Specifying and planning Laravel projects
• Training junior team members
• Onboarding new clients and helping form specification documents and work schedules
• Working with customers, to achieve desired new features and bug fixes
• Use third-party APIs and web scraping tools to source data at scale.
• Shine with engineering excellence by developing test infrastructures, writing documentation, ensuring high performance, and following an agile development methodology
• Write entirely new code and maintain and update existing code
• Research on new frameworks for improving the architecture
• Ensure development best practices are followed (Clean Code, Clean Architecture, code reviews)
• Actively communicate with the stakeholders, team members, and clients
