Roles and Responsibilities

• Optimize existing code and implement new functionalities for the mobile application.
• Write maintainable high-performance code in Java / Kotlin.
• Work on fixing bugs, memory leaks, and improving the overall application performance.
• Experience with unit testing

Desired Candidate Profile

• Expert level knowledge of Java / Kotlin, Android SDK, Gradle, Git and proficient in Android Studio and other tools
• Extensive understanding of Android framework components and their respective lifecycles (activity, fragments, service, etc.)
• Knowledge of open-source Android ecosystem, libraries, design patterns and architecture
• Experience with RESTful APIs (parsing JSON and XML) to communicate with backend services.
• Good understanding of SQLite database, data modeling and local database management.
• Must have hands on experience on Google API (Map, G+, etc.) integration knowledge.
• Firebase, notifications, and related services
