Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the quality of the websites we create
• Defining QA Strategy, approach & execution
• Provide leadership and technical expertise within test automation and quality assurance
• Coordinate and collaborate closely with the development teams to adhere to best practises of QA
• Focus on continuous QA improvements including usage of appropriate testing tools, test techniques, test automation.
• Monitoring of all the QA activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis and identifying areas of improvement. Implement steps required to improve the processes.
• Gather and present testing metrics and testing activities for the projects to management.

Your skills & experience

• A high grade, Technical Degree from an established technical university
• Experience working with an international business
• Proven experience managing an enterprise quality engineering and release management functions in a progressive software development environment
• Experience in setting up QA processes from scratch and introducing these new processes to team members
• Experience in manual and functional testing as well as automated testing
• Driving automation into testing processes, using modern CICD and continuous deployment test approaches
• Be a strong leader with experience in implementing and shaping the company's QA processes and strategies.
• Have strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, manual and automation, ideally in a continuous delivery environment.
• Hands on experience in QA of web applications such as Wordpress
• Work experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD systems
• Exceptional communication skills
• Willingness to do the actual testing work as well as set the strategy with a hands on approach

Desirable Skills

• Automated testing experience of REST API
• Understanding of Agile development methodology
• Mastery of Jira and/or other issue-tracking systems
