Roles and Responsibilities

Architecture, design and implementation of enterprise applications in J2EE environment

Subject Matter Expert in Architecture, Specifications and standards Developing proof of concept, prototypes

Defining architecture for the enterprise applications, SOA and application security

Work closely with the Enterprise Architects and Chief Strategist to ensure the architecture and design is aligned with the enterprise standards and best practices

Security architecture and implementation

Lead project team of developers and other technical resources

Implement the solution through the entire lifecycle and provide support and maintenance as needed

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience

Minimum 8-10 plus years of overall experience in delivering technology solutions

4 or more years of experience in designing and developing enterprise applications in J2EE environment

3 plus years in architect role for J2EE systems

Required Skills:

Architecture, design and development of J2EE applications in a web based and distributed architecture environment

Experience with Deployment and administration of web applications and services.

Strong background and experience in technologies & frameworks such as:

• Spring, Struts, JSF, Dojos, Ajax, EJB, JSP, Servlets, RMI, XML, XML Schema,REST
• Application Servers such as WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss
• Database server - MakLogic is a plus
• Workflow engine - BPMN 2.0, Activiti

Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment

Interpersonal and leadership skills: for managing customers, and development teams

Time management and prioritization for effectively leading portal projects
