Job Description

Role

We are looking for a software engineer having strong expertise in web programming with the React.js technology stack.

Responsibilities:

• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Developing new user-facing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Resolve issues and defects found internally or reported by end-users.
• Deploy front-end/related components to staging, live environments.
• Review current design and implementation, identify opportunities to improve them for better performance, scalability, and robustness.
• Coordinate with various groups/members and deliver results.

Must have:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with state management mechanisms such as Redux or Context API
• Strong experience in front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Strong experience with newer specifications of ECMAScript
• Familiarity with stylesheet pre-processors such as Sass or Less
• Strong experience in building UI components from the scratch without the need for an external design library.
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Seamless-Immutable, Normalizer)
• Familiarity with Cloud Services such as AWS, Azure, GCP etc.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and its integration
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Experience with common front-end development build tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, Yarn, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Familiarity with code versioning tools e.g., GitHub.
• Familiarity with code linting tools

Nice to have:

• Experience with popular React.js workflows such as Flux.
