The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated Data Visualization Consultant (Tableau) for our Business Analytics team, interested in contributing to the success of an exciting and fast-moving company. The Visualization Consultant will be responsible for enterprise-wide design, development, and deployment of visualization dashboards to understand and deliver data insights and analytical results in an intuitive format using Tableau.

A Day in the Life:

• Discuss requirements and design Tableau dashboards with respective Business units and business functions (CXO, sales, customer service, marketing, finance, operations etc.)
• Develop and deploy new dashboards in Tableau.
• Monitor performance of dashboards currently in production (all automated); investigate and resolve any runtime issues.
• Identify, recommend, and implement improvement to dashboards performance currently in production by optimizing data structure, dashboard design and setup.
• Identify and implement new features and functionalities to existing visualization dashboards to cater to evolving business requirements.

Role progression:

Within 1 month, you will:

• Complete onboarding process
• Familiarize yourself with the business and its functions
• Familiarize yourself with existing dashboards, data base and data models used for business intelligence.
• Gain an understanding of the setup of dashboards in production and existing business priorities on business intelligence.

Within 3 months, you will:

• Have Ownership of the dashboards and BI requirements
• Deliver your first dashboard for one of the business function from the list of priorities
• Identify opportunities to improvement of existing dashboards and their functionalities.

Within 6 months, you will:

• Adequately trained and functional to drive the visualization priority list for new developments.
• Start designing and implementing improvements
