We are seeking a DevOps & Systems Engineer with expertise in CI/CD, Linux, and AWS to support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of critical applications hosted on cloud-based infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational policies and processes. This candidate should have good understanding of cloud security and best practices for deploying software in a repeatable and continuous improvable manner. This candidate must have passion to monitor, diagnose and resolve system issues.

Our Engineering team is a fast paced group working in a competitive market. The DevOps and Systems Engineer will be responsible for managing the critical infrastructure on AWS.

The successful candidate must have a bachelors in computer science or related discipline and 5+ years of experience in systems administration and 4+ years of experience in DevOps. The candidate should be highly knowledgeable in Systems and cloud architecture including cloud application design, cloud management and monitoring Implementation, and Management of cloud infrastructure. The candidate should have broad experience implementing best practices in cloud-based network and security architecture. Must have strong passion and knowledge to detect, analyze and solve production issues.

The candidate should be a very good team player and must be willing to work in an agile environment. Must have experience in building enterprise solutions to provide flawless delivery of products in a timely manner. Must be able to improve the quality by identifying and removing single points of failure or unnecessary redundancies. 
Experience working with distributed teams, reviewing infrastructure, building and deploying Java based applications and services. Must have very good communication skills and experience interfacing with other stakeholders. Being active on open source projects and/or forums is a plus.
