You are a software development & support technical leader who will apply a working knowledge of ELM Development and Architecture attributes of IBM Development and Support practices and procedures. Responsibilities: to plan, manage, build, design and deliver ELM code fixes, quality and performance improvements to the marketplace. This will encompass technical assessments of field issues and coordination of identifying pervasive issues with Level 2 support, scrum management, sprint and fix pack/ifix planning, unit test and system verification test. Additionally, the management and planning of maintenance releases, code streams, and facilitating client adoption of maintenance. Responsibilities will also include employee personnel management such as hiring, firing, creation and monitoring of Individual Education Plans, performance management, efficiency programs and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms in accordance with IBM best practices.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

 

• 8 - 12 years of relevant industry experience
• Experience in leading teams as manager or team lead, at least 3 years
• Experience in leading projects and software development, at least 3 years
• Experience and ability to plan and execute analysis for data driven decision making
• Experience and ability to collaborate and influence within the organization both horizontally and vertically.
• Experience with virtualization systems like VMware/Openstack/HyperV and any public cloud
• Experience of developing reusable software/framework-based products dealing with scalability, availability, reliability, testability
• Experienced in software development methodologies, systems integration and automation
• Good communication skills, ability to integrate teams
• Good technical understanding of Software Development Agile practices and ability to map to an executable plan
• Experience with Automated Testing programs including Test Driven and Behaviour Driven Development
