Job Description Data Designer – Tech BA:

Strong technical skills, especially in both writing and interpreting SQL and knowledge of data modelling.

- Extensive experience working with various ETL Tools preferably Datastage

- Previous experience of working on Cloud environments preferably GCP including knowledge of associated technologies

- Experience of an Agile/Scrum/DevOps delivery environment

- Broad experience of ETL type processes, data warehouse type systems and associated database technologies (e.g. Vertica, Oracle)

- Strong working knowledge of SDLC tools including JIRA & Git.

- Understanding of the full lifecycle of Data Source, including front to back data flows

- Ability to independently manage issues when they arise

- Strong diagram & documentation skills, adherence to quality standards

- Behavioral Driven Development experience

- Ability to report progress upwards and provide a level of project management expertise including input into project plans, status reporting and risk/issue logs
