Desired Skills and Competencies:

• 4+ years of software development experience in PHP.
• Must have worked with Laravel/Lumen framework for at least 1 year.
• Excellent communication skills. Ability to be a self-starter, prioritize your work, stay organized, and work well in a team.
• Good knowledge of any MVC PHP framework (CodeIgniter, CakePHP, YII).
• Understand the following concept practically - OOPS, SOLID Principles, Design Patterns, MVC, REST, Service Oriented Architecture.
• Extensive knowledge of relational databases (MySQL) including complex SQL queries. Should have working knowledge of Stored Procedures, Views, Events, Triggers. Good knowledge of MySQL profiling and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience in Backend and REST-based API Development with Authentication and Authorization.
• Hands-on experience with GIT version control tool. Should understand various branching strategies, code merging.
• Ability to write clean code along with automated unit test cases (e.g. PHPUnit).
• Working knowledge of CI/ CD workflow is a bonus.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB / REDIS / ElasticSearch (any one).
• Working knowledge of Docker/ Vagrant will be an added advantage.
