Job Description:

To meet our expanding business needs, we are looking for a great JavaScript developer proficient with ReactJS. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them using ReactJS. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and a quality product are essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Developing new user-facing features using ReactJS

2. Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

3. Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code

4. Optimising components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.

Requirements:

1. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

2. Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles

3. Experience with popular React.js workflows and libraries (such as Flux, Redux, Redux-Saga etc.)

4. Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus

5. Familiarity with RESTful APIs

6. Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms (such as Auth 2.0 or JSON Web Token)

7. Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

8. Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

9. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

10. A knack for benchmarking and optimization

11. Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git or Perforce).

Bonus points for having working knowledge on -

1. Jest and Enzyme

2. Backend frameworks like Django / NodeJS

3. React Native

4. Docker.
