Roles and Responsibilities:-
• Build and maintain the cloud infra environments.
• Ability to create solution prototype and conduct proof of concept of new tools.
• Design repeatable, automated, and scalable processes to increase efficiency and
improve software quality such as manage Infrastructure as Code & work on internal
tooling which simplifies workflows.
• Utilize a deep understanding of service topology and their dependencies required to
troubleshoot issues, define mitigations and communicate resolutions
• Engage in incident handling, especially support a culture of post mortem and
knowledge sharing.

Technical skills:-
• Must have experience of writing shell scripts and configuration files.
• Should be proficient in bash, and at least one of Python or Perl.
• Should have excellent Linux administration capabilities.
• Hands on knowledge of at least one open source tool for configuration management
and provisioning of servers like Ansible, Puppet and Chef.
• Should have knowledge of setup and usage of source code management tools.
• Should have knowledge of the basics of networking in Linux, and computer networks
in general.
• Real world experience of managing cloud and related infrastructure for OpenStack and
related technologies like Ceph and SDN.
• Should be familiar with configuration and management of data sources like MySQL,
MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis and AMQPs.
• Should have knowledge of open source monitoring tools like Zabbix, Nagios and Icinga.
• Should be familiar with the setup of massively scalable logging and monitoring services
using open source tools like Grafana and ELK.
