Job Description
We are looking to hire a skilled Magento developer to upgrade and maintain our Ecommerce websites. As a
Magento developer, you will be responsible for liaising with the design team, upgrading up Magento 1x and
2x sites, building modules and customizing extensions, testing the performance of each site, and
maintaining security and feature update while ensuring quality of deliverables and performing code
review.
To ensure success as a Magento developer, you should have excellent object-orientated programming
knowledge, hold certifications for Java and Magento development, and be able to project manage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and manage e-commerce websites based on M2, web applications & web sites.
• Analyze, design, code, debug, test, document & deploy applications.
• Participate in project & deployment planning.
• Must be a self-starter & be able to work with minimum supervision.
• Meeting with the design team todiscuss the needs of the company.
• Building and configuring Magento 1x and 2x eCommercewebsites.
• Coding of the Magento templates.
• Developing Magento modules in PHP using bestpractices.
• Designing themes and interfaces.
• Setting performance tasks and goals.
• Troubleshooting integration issues.
• Updating website features and security patches.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Minimum 5 years of extensive experience in Magento 1.9.x & 2.x.
• Exposure on Magento 1 & 2, CMS, Code as wellas JavaScript frameworks such as
jQuery.
• Demonstrable knowledge of XML, XHTML, CSS, Modules i.e., API integration,Payment
Gateways, XML with a focus on standards.
• Demonstrable source control experience
• Extensive experience of PHP 5+ and MySQL.
• A fair understanding of fundamentals and concepts of Magento, PHP, and Zend.
• Ability to develop and manage e-commerce websites, web applications, other websites.
• Work on Magento integration with external systems, viz
CMS/CRM/ERP/Payment/Shipping etc.
• Can understand the goals and create strategies foreach project.
