About The role:
As a Front-end Lead, you will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact
within a web application, which makes your role crucial for the success of our business. The candidate is
required to work in teams alongside Back End Developers, Graphic Designers, User Experience Designers and
other stakeholders to ensure all elements of web creation are consistent. This requires excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
ï‚· Design front-end architecture with architectural guidelines in mind (secure, high-performing, scalable,
extensible, flexible, simple).
ï‚· Architect, Design and develop front-end applications.
ï‚· Turn business requirements into technical designs.
ï‚· Turn style guides into front-end frameworks and coding standards.
ï‚· Decipher information architecture and visual designs and turn them into front-end code.

Develop front-end code that integrates with back-end interfaces.
ï‚· Architect, develop, and test for cross-browser and cross-platform applications.
ï‚· Lead frontend technical development efforts independently, define software architecture, explore
existing systems, determine areas of complexity and potential risks to successful implementation of
advanced visualization products.
ï‚· Collaborate with various cross functional teams like design, product management and backend architects
and development teams to validate prototypes and to create elegant, usable, responsive and interactive
interfaces which meets client requirements.
ï‚· Translate wireframes into functional requirements, write well-abstracted, reusable, high-performance
code for UI components.
ï‚· Suggest continuous improvements in user interface, software architecture or new technologies.

Skills and Qualifications Required:
ï‚· Proven work experience of 5 or more years as a Front-end Lead
ï‚· Good experience with HTML, Bootstrap, JavaScript, CSS and jQuery
ï‚· Good experience with browser testing and debugging
ï‚· Good experience developing UI layouts with Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system
ï‚· Familiarity with Java, JSP, Design Patterns and Eclipse (Will be a plus), responsive design, single page
applications.
ï‚· Familiarity with web development processes (design, development and deployment).
ï‚· Build a highly scalable product right from scratch.
ï‚· Expertise in caching, minification, bundling techniques to improve front end performance.
ï‚· Experience in working with AB Test frameworks such as Optimizely.
ï‚· Experience in using front end monitoring tools to troubleshoot errors and recognise performance
bottlenecks.
ï‚· Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and coding.
ï‚· Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Bitbucket, Git), working experience with Agile
methodology and fast iterative development cycles and tools (Jira)
ï‚· Adhering to defined coding standards and best practices
ï‚· An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment

ï‚· Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
ï‚· Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or equivalent technology related experience, coursework or
certifications

Work Shift: U.K. (1:30 PM IST to 10:30 PM IST)
