Sales Executive

Job Description

Experience: 2+ years in sales, business development, or client acquisition, preferably in travel, tourism, education, or corporate engagement.
Reporting To: Sales & Business Development Head
CTC: 25,000 p.m with variable pay option upto 75,000 p.m.  

Job Overview:

The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth by reaching out to schools, colleges, and corporate clients to secure partnerships for treks and adventure activities. This role requires a motivated individual with excellent communication skills, a passion for outdoor activities, and a strong ability to build and maintain relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and reach out to potential clients, including schools, colleges, and corporate organizations, to promote TARC’s adventure programs.
  • Conduct sales presentations, meetings, and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of outdoor learning and adventure experiences.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions and corporate HR teams to drive long-term partnerships.
  • Develop customized adventure packages based on client needs and expectations.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of programs booked by clients.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive client acquisition and follow-ups.
  • Attend industry events, education fairs, and networking opportunities to generate leads and expand TARC’s reach.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and contracts in CRM tools.
  • Provide market insights and competitor analysis to help refine sales strategies.

Education/Experience

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Persuasive presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of the adventure tourism industry or experience in B2B sales (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and networking.
  • Passion for outdoor activities and adventure tourism.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Experience in institutional or corporate sales will be an advantage.
