Skills Required : 1. Assessing project requirements 2. Measuring the performance of mechanical components, devices and engines 3. Agreeing budgets, timescales and specifications with clients and managers 4. Maintaining and modifying equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable and efficient 5. Using computer-aided design/modelling software 6. Liaising with suppliers • Meet customer for cleaning the part of machinery on customer’s call 7. Providing technical advice 8. Research and develop products - for example, mechanical hearts if working in the thermic fluid 9. Develop, test and evaluate the problem. 10. Discuss and solve complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers 11. Surveying systems and machines 12.
