Project Governance Manager (In a reputed IT service management company)

Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION ⨀ Manages the full project management life cycle and testing life cycle for the implementation of highly complex, strategic IT and Business Corporate Initiatives within a Region. ⨀ Implements and recommends policies, system monitors and controls to ensure the successful management and reporting of all corporate initiatives in the Program ⨀ Supervises and leads the program and project staff to oversee the impacts and interdependencies between projects and works to ensure initiatives meet the QT Goals and Objectives of the GLT. Perceived by peers and staff as a leader ⨀ Provides both verbal and written communications regarding project status, risks, and issues, and makes recommendations on project decisions to GPMO and Senior Management ⨀ Challenges and involved in the planning of allocation of resources within the projects working closely with the QPO to meet work fluctuations and budget and time constraints in the delivery process. Creates a high-performing team ⨀ Serves as supervisory control over project scope, milestones, contract management, providing analytical guidance to the project teams ⨀ Manages all aspects of the project/program management, which may include: cost-benefit analysis, work plans, functional designs, directional viewpoints and engages in strategy brainstorming on construction, testing, and implementation. Ensures the efficient and high-quality installation of new software and/or systems, and monitors all technical aspects of implementing projects ⨀ Provides support to the SA Team in identifying the appropriate responses and solutions required to respond to client opportunities; assists Account Leadership in performing a needs analysis of the relevant business areas and in matching opportunities to organization capabilities to ensure the new opportunities are planned for and realistic and ensures the communication and actioning on new client acquisition phase inputs to delivery stage inputs are coordinated across and quickly integrated into the QT , sales, business, account management and delivery environment ⨀ Works with the Business areas in the Operational Readiness activities to provide support and coordination to ensure adoption of new systems and business processes in the QT environment ⨀ Manages contracts across all assigned projects and accounts.
