Job Description

Position Title: Manager - MEP(Mechanical, electrical and plumbing) Reports to: AVP-PROJECTS Department: PROJECTS 2. JOB PURPOSE: This role will be responsible for designing MEP infrastructure for the projects in JFL 3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Description ⨀ Detailed understanding of the Contract documents (drawings and specifications), MEP systems interrelationships, construction sequencing, and project schedule. ⨀ Validate design & review scope related to MEP and suggest alternative solutions. ⨀ Facilitate problem-solving as may arise during construction. ⨀ Direct, monitor and control the activities of MEP. ⨀ Coordination and administration of MEP related materials, systems and shop drawings submittals. ⨀ Liaison with Consultant MEP supervisory Engineers, Inspectors and relevant staff. ⨀ Ensure that MEP work at sites adheres to relevant Quality documentation/records. ⨀ Ensure that MEP Subcontractors adheres to Project safety regulations. ⨀ Assist in the testing and commissioning of MEP equipment. ⨀ Should be good in Project Management skill, project scheduling and Co-ordination with the regional team, taking the weekly update and sharing the updated reports. ⨀ Coordinating with different agencies for unique projects. ⨀ Adaptive to take extra initiative to take challenging assignments. ⨀ Should be willing to travel on sites and ensuring the work quality as per design and quality. 4. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Internal: ⨀ Cross-functional departments ⨀ Regional & Corp Project Team External: ⨀ Consultants and vendors 5. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Qualification – Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Air-conditioning Experience – 10+ years of experience in the field of MEP services of commercial / Residential / Institutional / Industrial buildings & Retail field. ⨀ To have in-depth knowledge of specifications, methodology and be strong on the technical front. ⨀ Knowledge of construction procedures and practices ⨀ Possess excellent communication and organizational skills ⨀ To have good project management skills & should be strong in Analytics & Analysis
