Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:- * Manipulate and edit recordings pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience * Take a brief to grasp the production team’s needs and specifications * Review video script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity * Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the Video * Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects * Create rough and final cuts * Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running * Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process * Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency. * Reading scripts and storylines to understand animation requirements * Preparing presentations with raw designs to customers * Developing storyboards for the initial stages of production * Create models, drawings and illustrations by hand or electronically * Join images with background graphics and special effects * Ensure synchronization of frames and audio * Participate in editing process * Collaborate with production crew (designers, directors etc.) * Study design briefs and determine requirements * Schedule projects and define budget constraints * Conceptualize visuals based on requirements * Prepare rough drafts and present ideas * Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand * Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic * Work with copywriters and creative director to produce a final design * Test graphics across various media * Amend designs after feedback * Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand Skills:- Graphic designing experience A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop) A keen eye for aesthetics and details Excellent communication skills Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines Graphic Design Skill Layout Skills Creative Services Customer Focus Creativity Flexibility Attention to Detail Deadline-Oriented Desktop Publishing Tools Acute Vision Handles Rejection Experience: Minimum 1 year in Video Animator/ Editor/ Graphic Designer
