Job Description

Position Title:- Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager Reports to:- Manager Department:- IT Division:- Support 1. JOB PURPOSE: -Candidate to have the overall responsibility of IT Service Delivery in his working circle. -This includes:- Server/Desktop OS Support, Application Support, Network and Database Support, Vendor Management, New Projects (Internal) Implementations. 2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Ensure IT services delivery are per agreed SLA and support team focused on the assure activities supporting all areas of IT Services. - Impart IT best practices followed across industry - Should have the ability to acquire business acumen in no time and identify the business requirement and adding value to business by delivering the requirement on time - POS (Microsoft .Net ) system of architectural understanding. - Strong SQL and Database knowledge. - Excellent troubleshooting knowledge on IT infrastructure. - Coordinate with Business stakeholders on the articulation of business needs, documentation getting issues resolved and managing delivery on requirements through support partners - Overseeing IT Operations support and co-ordinate with different stakeholders. - Skilled in Vendor management and Project execution in a structured manner. - Lead and motivate the team. 3. JOB CONTEXT: - IT Circle Server Delivery Manager 4. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Internal: Functional Teams IT team OPS Team External:- Related Vendor / Partner 5. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: - Qualification – BSc. (Comp)/BE/MCA. - Experience – 6-9 years of experience in IT support across multiple locations Skills – ⨀ Excellent communication skills in English and local language ⨀ Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting knowledge of hardware and operating system. ⨀ Strong Knowledge on Windows Server ⨀ Good Knowledge of SQL Query language and database analytical skill. ⨀ Excellent understanding of large MPLS network and different Wan Technology ⨀ Demonstrable experience of troubleshooting tools and techniques on Point of Sale ⨀ Experience in providing 4th line support for engineers when required using experience ⨀ Experience in handling escalation of incidents too, and in driving incident resolution with, technology vendors ⨀ Experience in implementing & managing ITIL based process frameworks. ⨀ Should be open to travel.
