Location – Bangalore Who Can join within 45 days 1-year direct contract JD:- ⨀ At least 4 years’ experience in Cloudera platform installation, administration, and tuning ⨀ Extensive experience in SQL is mand (At least 2 yrs) ⨀ Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies in Big Data, Cloudera, Hadoop ⨀ Hands-on Linux Administration experience, at least 1 year ⨀ Good knowledge of network concepts Sound knowledge of AWS services e.g. EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, VPC, EBS, IAM Role SQL Knowledge (Impala/Hive Database) – GOOD TO HAVE ⨀ Technical and functional knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem ⨀ Ability to effectively manage in a cross matrix environment with Global resources Experience implementing data ingestion solutions using Flume, Kafka, Spark, Pig, Hive, Sqoop, Java and related technologies ⨀ Experience in security aspects of Hadoop and Linux such as File-based ACLs, Kerberos and encryption, integration with AD LDAP ⨀ Experience in performance tuning of Hadoop clusters and Spark routine Proficient with shell scripting Python ⨀ Good understanding of ETL and data warehousing concepts ⨀ Experience with setting up disaster recovery solution Working with data delivery teams to setup new Hadoop users. This includes setting up Linux users, setting up sentry, Kerberos principals and testing HDFS, Hive, Pig, and MapReduce access for the new users. ⨀ Cluster maintenance as well as creation and removal of nodes using tools like Nagios, Cloudera Manager Enterprise. Performance tuning of Hadoop clusters and Hadoop MapReduce routines. Screen Hadoop cluster job performances and capacity planning Monitor Hadoop cluster connectivity and security Diligently teaming with the infrastructure, network, database, application, and business intelligence teams to guarantee high data quality and availability. ⨀ Collaborating with application teams to install the operating system and Hadoop updates, patches, version upgrades when required. ⨀ Excellent verbal and written skills
