Position: Manager / Sr. Manager Land Acquisition Grade: (2C/M5, 2B/M4) ROLE EXPECTATION The primary responsibility of the position would be to manage land procurement, pursue associated approvals and liaison with relevant district officials. The position would provide support to ensure that business objectives are delivered in areas of Land acquisition and its related framework and processes. This position will coordinate with site operational and technical teams to plan & initiate Land acquisition processes and respond to grievances. Key Responsibilities: · Land Procurement (ROU, Lease, Purchase, Acquisition) for Business · Manage existing land acquisition cases, pending approvals (relating to Land-use conversion, acquisition, etc.) · To pursue LAQ related matters with State Govt. Offices and handle grievances · To deal with landowners, affected parties and people representatives required for the procurement of Land · Coordination with User (Project team/ Mgmt) in order to deliver on business needs · Ability to assess the legislative landscape and plan an appropriate course of action to achieve business objectives Qualification & Experience · Graduate/ Post Graduate with exposure to land-related matters for at least 7-12 years and around 2-3 years’ experience in Oil & Gas/ Infrastructure industry · Fluent in written and spoken English & Hindi is essential · Relationship builder with understanding of prevalent Socio-Political Landscape · Knowledge of Land Acquisition practices and procedures · Having worked in multiple geographies in India would be an added advantage
