Responsibilities:- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code Check Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code Check Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application Check Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs Check Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization Qualification & Skills:- 1-2 years’ of experience in Android app development Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services Experience in developing apps in MVP/MVVM Strong knowledge of layouts, themes, styles, views and other Android UI concepts especially pertaining to Material Design Guidelines Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning Excellent in Android UI, Application framework, SDKs Familiarity with Functional and Reactive programming paradigm Up to date on emerging Android architecture patterns Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks Should be able to independently contribute with minimal supervision Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications A knack for benchmarking and optimisation Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git Up to date on emerging Android architecture patterns
