Job Description

Job Role: Registrar is the administrative head of the university and has the authority and accountability of all administrative issues in the university. The Registrar will serve as the official authorized keeper of the university's records. A strong administrative acumen, solid understanding of academics and a proactive approach to work are the attributes of interest. Roles and Responsibilities: To provide leadership and develop appropriate recommendations for the implementation of related technology application in support of enhanced services. To collaborate with administrators, deans, faculty, ICT and facilitate and improve services to students. To ensure communication and help in monitoring and evaluation of policies, decisions, statutes, ordinances, rules, and regulations of the university. To be the custodian of the common seal and records of the university. To be responsible for collecting, recording, maintaining and reporting of student records e.g., grades, registration data, transcripts, and other associated audits, and provide maximum service to students while ensuring efficient and effective workflow. To carry out official correspondence on behalf of the university on all academic, administrative, and other matters, as may be directed by the Governing Council. To liaison and correspond with all the regulatory bodies, MPPURC, government agencies and like. To maintain records of the institute such as papers of land and maps, plans, other properties and rules and regulations. To ensure smooth function and address all issues related to infrastructure, academic and general administration, student services, law, tax, finance, HR, contractual and outsourced agencies, etc. To exercise all such other powers and perform such other duties as may be determined by the Competent Authority from time to time. Skill Sets: A strong administrative acumen with a good understanding of academics and its associated environs. Ability to be proactive and inspire people for providing a distinctive learning experience for everyone. Ability to provide strategic vision and leadership in administration. Ability to network and liaison with regulatory bodies and government agencies. Exercise influence and advocacy on behalf of the university through active engagement with all. Education: PhD/ Masters in Engineering, Design, Management, or allied disciplines from a reputed institute in India or overseas. Work Experience: 15 years+ with minimum 5 yea
