Sales Officer

Job Description

Responsible for business in his area To manage relationship, generate sales and handle the issues. Ensuring proper service to trade: Generating secondary sales through product availability. Right product for right outlet principle to be followed in order to generate optimal secondary sales. Having good relationship in the trade and giving value addition to the customer and consumer. Sales growth: Ensuring increased distribution coverage & merchandising of Tea Valley. Distribution: Ensuring proper coverage & placement of the outlets in the area assigned to the distributors. Managing claims. Ensuring FIFO in distributors warehouse and outlets. Ensuring payments of distributors from market. Key Accounts: Tracking high volume driven outlets separately. MIS: Preparing sales budget, forecasting and daily reporting. Merchandising: To impart training to promoters. Proper POSM deployment. Tracking competition activities: To ensure regular monitoring & feedback on competitors activities. BTL Activities: To ensure proper execution of BTL activities in his area. Educational Level Graduation: Any specialization Post-Graduation (PGDM/ MBA in Marketing or Sales Management. Working Experience Must have: 1-3 years of experience of handling general trade (GT) sales in a FMCG company, preferably food and beverage industry. Required Candidate profile Knowledge: Excellent knowledge and understanding of food industry Knowledge of products and information on market and competition Skills: Planning and organizing skills Strong Interpersonal skills Presentation skills Relationship building Negotiation skills Decision-making ability Analytical skills Attitude: Customer-centric Diligent Go-getter
