Job Description

(1) Qualification: Must have: Degree in Engineering with Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Desirable: Construction Management from NICMAR (2) Experience: Must have: minimum 15Yrs experience of which 10Yrs shall be relevant Composite Construction Management Experience in large Oil& Gas Projects in Upstream or DownStream or Petrochemicals or Heavy Chemical Projects with brownfield projects experience Desirable: Upstream onshore/ offshore topsides brownfield Construction experience (3) Avoid Discipline Construction Management experience including for a long period and infrastructure projects experience and exclusive Greenfield project experience. Experience in maintenance activities shall not be considered as Projects/ Construction experience. Exclusive experience in dry docks and yards not preferred. Personnel with no exposure to Upstream Oil & Gas field development are not preferred. Principal spheres of accountability ▪ Day-to-day oversight of the construction site and responsibility for the contractors – Coaching, training, guidance and overall direction to the construction site team – Oversight of major technical milestones of the construction process – Execution of all construction jobs on time and with required quality – Immediate escalation of all important issues arising during construction ▪ Execution of construction schedule – (In coordination with Engineering Manager) Acceptance of technical changes, modifications to master plan and critical path during the execution phase – Day-to-day monitoring of technical risk implications to cost, quality and time to completion of changes ▪ Logistics of construction material deliveries – Compliance of material deliveries with contractors’ approved master and delivery schedules – Ensuring material management and availability on site Performance evaluation principles ▪ Construction completion on schedule and within the cost ▪ Compliance with HSSE standards during construction activities ▪ Construction meets quality specifications, engineering guidelines and commissioning needs during execution Requirements Degree in Engineering with Mechanical, Chemical or Construction Management from NICMAR or equivalent with a minimum of 15Yrs experience. Out of 15Yrs, minimum of 10Yrs relevant multidiscipline composite Construction Management experience in large Oil & Gas Upstream onshore/ Offshore, Downstream, Petrochem
