Job Description 1. JOB DETAILS: Position Title: Product Manager Reports to: General Manager Department: Digital 2. JOB PURPOSE:  Responsible for managing a set of products or product lines or solutions over the life of the product from ideation through development and launch.  Work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy 3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Description  Drive the ideation of the new products; analyze and evaluate new ideas, specifying the needs to the CFT (Cross-Functional Team) for market research and competitive benchmarking.  Generate product requirements and specifications.  Work with Product Team members and business finance to develop a realistic business case.  Work with the engineering project manager, lead and participate in planning meetings, provide guidance, and monitor the project results.  Maintain the project plan; Lead gate reviews by assembling the CFT for effective decision making.  Demonstrate functionality of completed products to internal team members and other stakeholders.  Support product launches including working with marketing team and other product management team members.  Training of sales team on product features, business value, and other key selling propositions.  Build commercial proposals for RFQ’s.  Work with business development function to build value proposition artifacts.  Support business development teams in marketing campaigns. 4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:  Qualification – B. Tech with MBA will be an added advantage  Relevant experience of 4-8 years.  Proven work experience in product management as a product manager.  Proven ability to develop a product from ideation (Market Research, Benchmarking) to launch.  Proven experience in Requirements Analysis, Pricing Analysis, business case preparation.  Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle post identification.  Proven ability in developing value propositions, commercial proposals, providing sales training  Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get
