Operating systems & Tools (SUSE Linux / IBM AIX / IBM Spectrum i.e. IBM Tivoli): 1. Should be experienced in administration of SUSE Linux, IBM AIX operating systems 2. Have hands-on experience in managing & troubleshooting IBM Tivoli (Spectrum Protect) backup utility with SAP HANA & Sybase DB environment. 3. Monitor status of BACKUPs, perform need based restore when require. 4. Report & coordinate with team lead for incident management process. Take corrective actions for incidents related to OS & backup related issues. SAP Net Weaver BASIS Administration: 1. SAP user management for ABAP & Java stacks, Business Objects, Central User Management, etc. 2. Maintain Roles and Authorization using PFCG 3. SAP Transport Management using STMS and ChaRMs 4. Knowhow of using SAP Solution Manager for MoPZ, ITSM, CHARMS, CUA, EWA, System Monitoring and Technical Administration 5. BASIS administration (monitoring & maintenance) of SAP systems at Primary & DR-sites. 6. Monitor & Troubleshoot the performance of SAP systems, Troubleshoot issues and follow-up with End Users and Development team to resolve the issues. 7. Data Volume Management activities like index quality analysis and rebuilding. 8. Monitoring & control database growth and perform DBA operations as required. 9. Monitor status of database archive logs for smooth operation of SAP systems. Database Administration (HANA / Sybase / Oracle): 1. Manage and maintain database for SAP and Non-SAP applications / systems 2. Monitor, administer the database and troubleshoot database related issues. Required Candidate profile Candidate will be part of SAP BASIS administration team and hence knowledge in area of SAP Netweaver BASIS Administration, SAP Database Administration (HANA / Sybase / Oracle) is expected and will be an added advantage. Should have basic knowledge of SAP Netweaver BASIS layer. Candidate will be responsible for 3500+ business users running multiple SAP Applications on said infrastructure like ERP, BW, EP and BO in a multi-location environment. Skills & personal attributes: Should have good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical terminology to people with limited or no technical understanding.
