Job Description:- Plan and execute roll shop service activities at the site as per the planning given/customer's requirement and ensure zero down time in the mill operation. Manage team of Shift-in-charges & workers at the site. Manage bearing servicing area, chocking and De-Chocking area, Crane operations and Roll Grinding area operations and ensure to deliver as per the site requirement. Maintain set system/quality standards - Check lists/ service records of all the working areas. Planning of the spares required, tools, manpower, etc. Create best service provider image to Schaeffler, mapping of customer applications and the bearings requirement, etc. Job experience:- 3 - 6 years of experience in the Roll shop Maintenance area. Must have experience in a continuous hot strip mill. Candidate should be able to manage the shift individually with an operating team of 25 to 30 members and have hands-on experience in bearing servicing, Grinding and Chocking & De- chocking. Should be able to analyze and solve the problems in the mill operations that are related to bearing service area. Education:- B.E in Mechanical stream.
