Primary Skills:  Oracle Commerce Java 8 WebSphere JBoss Tomcat SQL and Oracle DB TypeScript Node.js Nginx Linux

We are currently looking for  DevOps Engineer  ( 4-5 Yrs) who should have in-depth knowledge of  both later and older versions (v10.2+) including Core API Repository API REST module architecture Commerce API Integration APIs Multisite API Merchandising API and more.

Technical Requirements

• Experience configuring and troubleshooting all aspects of the oracle commerce service stack. Including page servers lock managers agent pub etc.

• Experience with the challenges and aspects of working with the platform.

• Experience troubleshooting and correcting issues with the BCC including snapshot issues agent failures partial deployments etc. Ideally the candidate should have experience dealing with a BCC that is used directly as a catalog management tool for a very large ( 1 million skus ) catalog.

Endeca Framework and Services:

• Proficiency in both the latest and older versions (v3.2+) with a deep understanding of the indexing process customizations and troubleshooting.

• Experience with cartridge handling dimension value caching record filtering and performance optimization.

• Experience configuring and trouble shooting Endeca tool sets services and indexing issues.

Programming Languages and Technologies:

• Java 8 proficiency with an understanding of Java 6 limitations.

• Experience with WebSphere JBoss Tomcat JSP and XML.

• Experience debugging memory dumps

• Build / Management / Reporting Tools

• Experiencing configuring and maintaining Jenkins and/or other build tools.

• Experience with Jetbrains Space and those build pipelines is a plus

• Advanced experience working with GIT. Including disaster recovery proper branch management dealing with merge issues gitignore gitattributes etc.

• Working knowledge of New Relic

Database Management:

• A strong working knowledge of the Oracle Commerce DB Schema

• Strong knowledge of SQL and Oracle DB.

• Experience taking and restoring backups/data dumps.

Other Services / Qualification

•   Advanced Nginx experience.

• In depth knowledge the nginx location and matching rules

• Working knowledge of mappings and variables

• Working knowledge of nginx proxies and load balances the back end application servers.

• Working knowledge of maintaining Node JS Application server

• Should have a strong working knowledge of basic linux administration tools like rsync ssh lsyncd cron etc.

• Need to have an obsessive attention to detail
