Design & implement the best engineered technical solutions using latest technologies and tools.

Who you are:

• 11+ years of experience in Liferay & Project Architect. Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects
• Hands-on experience migrating evaluating current Liferay implementation and creating an upgrade roadmap
• Hands-on experience leading Liferay upgrade projects
• Define implementation architectures supported by deep expertise in DXP (6.x, 7.x) and Liferay Cloud, Commerce, Analytics Cloud, and Portal technologies as well as broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using the platform
• Extensive experience with a variety of technologies related to customer applications and services (e.g. Containers, Kubernetes, Security, Disaster Recovery, etc.).
• 5+ years design/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications
• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking
• Be a subject matter expert for Liferay for projects and customers serviced by our Managed Application group
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to confidently lead technical discussions
• Strong written communication skills
• Experience presenting to both large and small audiences (Executives, IT Management, and developers)
• Experience communicating across internal and external organizations.
• Ability to understand non-functional requirements such as scalability, security, application monitoring, performance etc.
• Prior experience with Domain Driven Design (DDD).
• Good experience with Test Driven Development.
• Strong programming and Business Logic skills
• Hands on experience in Hibernate, JSP, Java Web Services
• Capability to complete the module independently, without much dependency on Tech Lead.
• Ability to perform Unit Testing with Junit
