We have a Immediate requirement of AS400 Developer for one of our Client at Anywhere in India Location.

:Summary

Location: Anywhere in India ( Location is not constraint even post lockdown. They can work from home.)

Experience: 3+  years experience level is required.

Position: As400 Developer

Immediate joiners preferred within 15 days joiners acceptable.

JD for AS400 Developer:

Job Duties:

The responsibilities include activities described in the software project lifecycle. This would entail areas such as

1. Design: Develop / review the technical design.

2. Coding: Analyze and develop code as per specifications.

3. Reviews: Conduct review of design/code/test plan and test results

4. Testing: Prepare unit test plans, conduct unit testing and support system integration & User acceptance testing.

5. Support: Provide post development support.

6. Customer delight: Ensuring that customer expectations are met and exceeded under all circumstances. This would imply the following:

• Shouldering responsibility diligently and delivering quality output within the defined schedule and service levels
• Understanding the clients requirement and translating it to the project team

7. Day to day maintenance and support of the application

8. Provide support documentation

9. Provide Quantitative Analysis on all work products

Technical Skills and Soft Skills

1. Technical capability: Continuously upgrading and learning various tools and technologies required for successful project delivery through continuous learning.

• Strong in AS400/Iseries/ IBMi RPGLECLLE,  COBOL, DB2 and SQL on iSeries
• Knowledge of rational tools like RTC, RDi, Arcad would be an advantage
• Familiar with MQ, Connect: Direct, sFTP, etc.
• Exposure to Restful API, Open source technology (Java) on Iseries would be an advant
