We are looking for a WordPress Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins.

This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript).

Ideal candidate will have experience working on a Wordpress Project for an enterprise client and have a good deep understanding of a multisite, multi language set up.

The brand is looking to expand into 30 countries with approximately 20 different languages and also different variations of English. The developer must have strong skills to organise the structure and security of such a large project.

The WordPress developer must be able to work with APIs and integrations from different platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Creating the website architecture and building the website front-end in WordPress.
• Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
• Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
• Conducting website performance and security tests.
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
• Troubleshooting content issues.
• Monitoring the performance and security of the live website.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}
• Proficient in English communication.

Desired Candidate Profile

Addon experience and skill would be preferred.

• Experience in developing Headless / Decoupled WordPress websites.
