Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Engineer will work with the Application Development staff in creating and maintaining a robust quality assurance process for applications. The QA Engineer will work under the direction of the Dev Manager in analyzing system requirements, preparing and executing test plans, and documenting deficiencies. This position requires work to be completed both independently and as a team member in various situations, maintaining a positive attitude while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Job timings: 5:30pm to 2:30am-

Location - WFH

Main Responsibilities

Review business requirements and functional specifications to ensure all use cases are covered.

Create and maintain test documentation based on applications business logic documentation.

Create and maintain Use Cases.

Understanding of Automation testing

Work with application developers and business users to develop thorough test plans & test scripts.

Verify software functionality for software development projects.

Perform hands-on manual testing to validate that software meets the requirements.

Create test data/conduct database queries as required to evaluate software functionality.

Create defect tracking & matrices for application deficiencies found during testing.

Participate in peer reviews of functional specifications, and test plans/test cases.

Coordinate with end users to schedule and support User Acceptance Testing.

Create UAT documentation and conduct presentations for the end users.

Beside Functional, conduct QA regression, Responsive testing, Load, Smoke, & Performance testing.

Enforce quality standards and procedures through the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Create and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures and practices.

Assist with project management and coordination for major tasks.

Train and mentor junior QA staff

Create and maintain training documentation for QA staff

Respond to and investigate production issues

Education/Experience

Experience : 6 - 11 years
