Roles and Responsibilities

As a Sr. Data Engineer, you gather and understand data requirements, build consensus around design, architecture & business logic with your team, and work to achieve high quality & scalable data pipelines to solve the business problem. You will be building systems that deals with huge amounts of data coming from multiple sources outside of company. You must have passion for solving business problems with data, learning new technologies & diving deep into data to maintain high quality data warehouse. You are well versed in multiple technologies & architecture patterns to solve particular business problem at hand.

In this role, you will play a key part in building, scaling & maintaining the backbone of our AI & Analytics platform to help out clients in achieving better digital presence. You will be working in fast pace environment where solving business problem is the highest priority. Your efforts to collect, organize, and share data will impact nearly every employee & client and will be highly visible across the organization. We are starting to build teams in India so you will be one of the few early employees in India with very high growth potential in short time. You can work from anywhere in India and work in Indian time with some overlap with US timezone.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
• 3+ years of industry experience in software development, data engineering,
  business intelligence, data science, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in SQL & Python
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a
  related technical discipline
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Proven track record of solving complex business problem with high quality & automated testing in agile environment.
• Experience using one of the big data technologies (Spark, EMR, Dbt cloud etc)
• Excellent communication & analytics skills
• Experience working with AWS big data technologies (EMR, Redshift, S3, La
