ThirdEye is looking for Sr. Software Engineers who would be responsible for the development of new software products that run on huge volumes of data arriving at various velocities and are of various types. They would also perform enhancements to existing software products.

As a Sr. Software Developer with hands-on experiences in Python or Scala, armed with a Computer Sciences degree, you will develop, maintain, and operate big data solutions. You are self-motivated, a multi-tasker, and a demonstrated team player. You have outstanding communication and leadership skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:-

• Work with big data applications and frameworks
• Design and development of various data processing jobs
• Make efficient use of data structures and SQL programming to ensure maximum throughput of your data jobs
• Develop new REST APIs and integrate with existing APIs
• Perform batch data processing, exchange, and transform
• Ingest data from files, real-time streams, and databases
• Develop efficient software code for multiple use cases leveraging Spark and Big Data technologies for various use cases.

Desired Candidate Profile:-

• Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithm design.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in programming with Scala
• Proficient in building and consuming REST services
• Proficient in data wrangling and preparation using Scala, Python, and SQL.
• Strong in OOP & functional paradigm
• Knowledge of Graph networks is a huge plus
• Self-motivated and a fast learner who pays attention to detail
• Ability to work independently but adhere to strict team standards of design, coding, and testing
• Have a Player-Coach mentality: think like an architect, then help produce high-quality
