• It’s a highly collaborative role, in which you’ll have the chance to work closely with marketing team, engineering managers and colleagues at multiple levels, and with domain, platform and feature teams, to build quality as an integral part of all activities.
• Architect, implement, and manage web-based applications, databases, and interfaces from initial architecture through development, test, and deployment .
• Collaborate with clients to develop site map- guidelines and requirements to capture content, feature and functionality for site development efforts.
• Making sure decisions are based on robust data, return on investment and value measures that demonstrate thoughtful and intelligent cost management.
• Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
• Being head of the department, you have to play an active role in organizing WordPress camp and Meetups to both new, and established events.
• Collaborate with the sales team to support them in technical aspects and to gauge interest in our clients portfolio and uncover obstacles.
• Enabling the cross-skilling of colleagues with the skills and benefits of an end-to-end development cycle.

Requirements

• Should have hands-on experience in WordPress, Woo commerce ,Gutenberg & HOOKS concepts
• Build a highly scalable product right from scratch.
• Should be well versed with PHP, HTML, MYSQL, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Has knowledge of any one of Git, Bitbucket, SVN, etc. code management repositories
• Experience in Customization of themes & plugins.
• Open source contributions or contributions to programs designed to help underrepresented people enter the tech field.
• Experience in developing E-Commerce websites.
• Should have a good understanding on Search Engine Optimization(SEO).
• Should have worked on Web Analytics tools like GA/Segment/Mixpanel etc.
• Should follow Engineering effectiveness where we believe in helping other developers become more effective through tools, practices, cross-team collaborations, and process improvements.
