Responsibilities

1. Developing and automating large scale, high-performance data processing systems to support our pricing engine and drive business growth
2. Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines
3. Performing data cleaning and validation across different sources to improve data quality
4. Supporting data scientists and business partners in the company with various needs
5. Creating and maintaining data dictionaries for clarity and transparency of the data
6. Generating reports or dashboard to help business partners make data driven decisions

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of relevant industry experience
2. Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, or related field
3. Advanced working experience with data warehouse and ETL
4. Experience designing and deploying high performance systems with reliable monitoring and logging practices
5. Advanced working knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring and optimization (SQL)
6. Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and MongoDb
7. Strong problem solving and coding skills with one of the following languages: Python/Java/Go.
8. Experience with BI and data visualization tools
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
