Senior PHP Developer

We are looking for a PHP Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the mobile apps. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness. We are looking for a PHP Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the mobile apps. Your primary focus to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a good understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Responsibilities

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
• Performance testing the solution build
• Optimise PHP code as well as SQL queries
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
• Integration of data storage solutions
• Unit/System testing the solution and reporting and fixing the bugs
• Preparing the production release plan
• Code promotion
• Source code and version control

Skills and Qualification

• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks CI, Laravel, Yii, etc
• Understanding the fully synchronous behaviour of PHP
• Understanding of MVC design patterns
• Very good understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
• REST API
• Very good understanding of GIT or SVN
• XML, JSON, CSV
