Senior/Lead Front-end Developer

Job Description

we are looking to hire a Senior Frontend Engineer with experience in building performance-optimized modern frontend applications that can handle huge amounts of data. we make ambitious things happen on the browser that leverages the most of modern Web Technologies. You will be responsible for architecting applications from scratch that meet the requirements and work under challenging constraints.

Our frontend stack is mostly written in JavaScript and we use React as our frontend view library of choice along with SAPUI5 for some of our enterprise apps. We make extensive use of HTML5 Canvas, IndexedDB, Web Workers, and Service Workers to be able to provide an ideal experience for our users.

Education/Experience

Minimum experience: 3 years

Position Type: Full Time

Location: Fully Remote. You can continue work from home as long you want but we do need a photo of your amazing home office setup ;)

Requirements/What we look for:

  • Previous work experience, ideally as a front-end engineer, (full stack with a front-end focus will also be considered), working on an application with complex state management requirements
  • Experience working in React
  • Experience with not-so-common browser technologies like Canvas, IndexedDB, Web Workers and more. Experience with building enterprise/B2B applications would be an added plus.
  • Comfortable with advanced frontend concepts, experimenting and creating innovative solutions
  • Experience working with JS build tools like Webpack and Babel
  • Experience building frontend adjacent technologies like Browser Extensions, Electrons apps, etc.
  • Strong prioritization and communication skills
  • Collaboration skills: you’ve worked effectively with product owners and cross-domain teams in the past
  • Comfortable with ambiguity: our products range from productive enterprise applications getting incremental upgrades to rapid idea prototyping for new solutions
