Education/Experience

  Equipment Maintenance: Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of hot forging equipment including presses furnaces and associated machinery. Schedule and oversee routine maintenance activities including lubrication calibration and replacement of worn components. 

Team Management: Lead and manage a team of skilled maintenance technicians providing guidance training and support to ensure a high level of technical proficiency. Schedule and organize the workload for the maintenance team to meet production demands efficiently.

Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions promptly to minimise downtime. Coordinate with production and engineering teams to prioritise and execute repairs ensuring minimal impact on the manufacturing process. 

Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to identify and address potential issues before they lead to equipment failures. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance activities including schedules inspections and repairs.

Spare Parts Management: Manage inventory of spare parts and equipment components ensuring the availability of critical items to support maintenance activities. Establish relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely procurement of necessary parts.

Safety and Compliance: Enforce and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance department ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the maintenance department implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance overall efficiency.

Qualifications: &bull B.E. Mech Engineer

&bull 12+ years of experience in Maintenance department of any hot Press Forging

&bull In depth knowledge of problem-solving techniques and breakdown root cause analysis.

&bull Knowledge of MS &ndash Office &ndash Excel & Word.

&bull Team player and people management skills
