Responsibility Operate and use required tools and equipment skillfully and safely Keep records and prepare reports Coordinate work flow for multiple projects Read, comprehend, and work from plans and work instructions Train and direct the work of others Follow and give oral and written instructions Maintain cooperative working relationships Demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse population Must have knowledge of: Commercial, industrial practices, processes and equipment of the painting trade Paints, polyurethanes, primers, lacquers, enamels, epoxies, paint removers, solvents, cleaners and related materials , and of their properties and application Applicable code requirements Methods and practices followed in the maintenance of tools, machinery, and equipment Occupational hazards of the painting trade and precautionary measures to be observed Must possess a valid driver's license Must have the ability to complete the following trainings as required: Forklift operation certification Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting equipment (up to 50lbs.-two man lift), bending, standing, climbing or walking Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in the construction trades Must be able to handle hazardous materials Requirements Prepares, primes, sands, seals, patches, cleans and paints truck beds, surfaces, utilizing all types of painting materials such as primers, poly urethanes, lacquer thinner finishes Tapes, sands, repairs and applies texturing layers on a variety of surfaces Operates, cleans and maintains all painting equipment, including brush, sprayers and robotic spray guns and pumps, etc. Keeps records and submits reports of work Erects scaffolding, rigging and ladders as necessary in a manner consistent with safety codes Reads and understands work instructions Ability to understand acceptable spray patterns, clogged mix chambers and tips Understands tolerances of spray equipment and bed liner build tolerances Capable of spraying bed liner using manual application equipment in the event of failures, or repairs 5 Years experience with reputed company Strong work ethic Solid knowledge of safety in the workplace Flexibility for overtime as needed Professional attitude Ensuring timely achive assigned targets Work to continuously improve set up times, speed and waste.
